Patrons must be 18 years or older to check out a tool. Tools will circulate to eligible patrons who have accounts in good standing. Patrons with fines over $5.00 will not be allowed to borrow tools. Tools must be returned in clean and working order during library hours. Failure to do so will result in fines and prevention from borrowing tools in the future. Tools may be returned to the Niagara Falls Public Library (1425 Main St.) or LaSalle Branch Library (8728 Buffalo Ave.) Tools can be renewed two times, unless the tool is currently requested by another patron. Do not return tools in the book drop or leave them outside unattended. Loan period is one week for all tools. Patrons can borrow a total of two tools at once. The borrower is responsible for costs associated with damage or loss of the tool/device and/or peripherals due to neglect or abuse. Replacement cost varies depending on the tool. The library reserves the right to refuse service to patrons who abuse the equipment or who are repeatedly late in returning tools/devices.
