Passport Acceptance Service

Niagara Falls Public Library is proud to have been designated a Passport Acceptance Facility by the Department of State. Below you'll find information on our service hours, making appointments, new applications, renewals, fees, photos and what to bring.

Passport Appointments:

Passport Applications are procecessed between the following hours,

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please make appointments by phone: 716-286-4894.

Wednesdays: 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Thursdays: 11:00am - 3:30pm
Fridays: 11:00am - 3:30pm
Saturdays: 11:00am - 3:30pm

*IMPORTANT NOTES*

THIS IS NOT A SAME-DAY SERVICE: You will NOT walk out the door with a passport.

Our role as a Passport Acceptance Facility is to accept your paperwork and send it on to the Department of State.

How long will it take to receive my passport?

*Processing times begin the day the Department of State receives your application at a passport agency or center, not the day you mail your application or apply.

For faster mailing times, customers may opt to pay for 1-2 day delivery service for applications mailed to Passport Services and for the mailing of their new passport.

Customers who have a life-or-death emergency or urgent travel within 3 business days should visit travel.state.gov for more information.

Visit the official U.S. Passport website at travel.state.gov.
